A unique opportunity to swim and snorkel with dolphins! Experience the joy of a dolphin kiss, marvel at the dolphin’s strength as you are towed through the water in the ‘belly ride’, and fall in love with their gentleness as you cradle a dolphin in your arms.
Then put on your mask and snorkel to get an incredible view of the dolphins as they speed and spiral swim through the water and demonstrate their amazing agility. At the same time the dolphins will swim frequently in and out of the groups allowing all participants to keep caressing and viewing them from up close.
The program begins with a dock side briefing by a trainer who will give details about the individual activities and safely procedures. Following the briefing, snorkelers will enter the water standing on a submerged platform for an introduction to their new Dolphin-friend. Lots of contact will occur during this stage of the program as you get to touch the Dolphin and pose for a big dolphin kiss. All participants will snorkel while the dolphins play amongst them freely.

Dolphin Discovery Cozumel is located in Chankanaab National Marine Park. As well as offering world class diving and snorkeling, this beautiful park houses our sea lion show, a botanical garden, reproductions of famous archeological sites, a typical Mayan village, an underground river, a tropical lagoon teeming with brightly colored tropical fish, restaurants and bars, and a dive shop. You will definitely want to allow time to enjoy the park either before or after your dolphin activity. |

GETTING THERE FROM COZUMEL:
Take the ferry from the downtown pier (Muelle Fiscal) across to Playa del Carmen - approx 40 minutes - $11 USD OW then a taxi to PUERTO AVENTURAS MARINA - DOLPHIN DISCOVERY - approx 15-20 minutes. Present your confirmation along with your payment and you will be set. Please check in 30 minutes prior to your activity time. |

Participants should be competent swimmers and comfortable with the use of mask, fins and snorkel. Children under 8 OR less than 4 ft. are not allowed to participate - ages 8 to 11 AND more than 4 ft. must be accompanied by a paying adult. Lifejackets are worn at all times!
Health
Pregnant women may not participate in any of the dolphin or sea lion programs.
All dolphin activities are safe and interactive but require physical involvement by participants.
Participants should be in good general health and able to understand and follow directions as given by the dolphin trainers.
Those who have undergone an recent surgery or suffer from any condition that may limit them physically (i.e. back surgery) should check with their physician before proceeding to make a reservation. |

My daughter, 13 did the dolphin swim and it was the best time of her life.. up close and personal with scarlet.. the pictures were beautiful and the video wonderful.. this was a once in a life time event that she will remember for her entire life... well worth the 99.00 and the additional 75.00 for pics and video coverage.. if you can afford to do this, this is not to be missed.. it was the highlight of the entire vacation... go and have fun, well worth the cost and a lot of fun to be had. WONDERFUL TIME....

Sherri ~ I just wanted to pass along a huge THANK YOU for the dolphin excursion I booked through you in Cozumel for last Wednesday. The experience was something I will remember for a lifetime. Besides my friend and myself, there were only two other participants in our group so the dolphin trainer gave us extra time in the water. GREAT PICTURES were taken of the whole experience!!!!!!! Actually, a few people I spoke to when I got back on the cruise ship booked their excursion through Carnival directly and paid more $$$$ for less time in the water with the dolphins ( no swim, push off, etc). First of all, I want to say thank you so much for sharing your wonderful island with my family. Secondly, we did the Royal Dolphin Swim with Dorie and Belle, and it was the most AWESOME time of our lives.
