Each winter shoals of at least 20 - 30 spotted eagle rays gather around Cozumel for a 3 - 4 month period no doubt for mating and playing. Since eagle rays typically prefer to fly along the reef walls in areas where strong currents converge, extensive video footage of these magnificent creatures is difficult to obtain. Typically a diver is considered lucky to spot 1-2 eagle rays together while on a dive. PADI Instructor Sherri Davis with the help of Fox Hill editing and production has assembled spectacular footage of Cozumel's eagle rays as they gather together in shoals and fly along Cozumel's reef walls.
This digitally filmed and edited video footage was shot entirely on location in Cozumel and features the best footage from hundreds of Sherri's dives on Cozumel's reefs where the spotted eagle rays were encountered. This Cozumelinsider Exclusive Edition ~ Eagle Rays of Cozumel video is 30 minutes in length and makes a wonderful addition to your library on reef creatures of Cozumel!
