Cruise passengers or hotel guests visiting Riviera Maya area of Mexico can now enjoy several fun filled dolphin, manatee or sea lion interaction experiences. Visitors to Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Akumal and Tulum can now reserve space at the dolphin park nearby on the mainland rather than crossing over to visit the dolphin arena on Cozumel Island.
Cruise passengers disembarking at Calica or Playa del Carmen have a quick 15 minute taxi ride to reach the mainland dolphin and sea life park.
Advance reservations are suggested as these activities typically sell out months in advance.

My daughter, 13 did the dolphin swim and it was the best time of her life.. up close and personal with scarlet.. the pictures were beautiful and the video wonderful.. this was a once in a life time event that she will remember for her entire life... well worth the 99.00 and the additional 75.00 for pics and video coverage.. if you can afford to do this, this is not to be missed.. it was the highlight of the entire vacation... go and have fun, well worth the cost and a lot of fun to be had. WONDERFUL TIME....

The Royal Dolphin Swim was the perfect excursion during our cruise on the Carnival Fantasy. We booked through Cozumel Insider because the ship didn't offer the Royal Dolphin Swim and also because prices were cheaper than booking on board. The inexpensive taxi ride was better than taking a bus and being on someone else's schedule for the day. Chankanaub is a beautiful park and a great way to spend time in Cozumel! I just wanted to take a minute now that I am home to tell you how much we enjoyed the park and all the activities you helped me set up. The sea lion swim was amazing and the show following was really enjoyable. The dolphin swim didn't work out for all of us but we are planning to do the Disney cruise again one day and we will be back for sure.
