I considered your advice to drop by & remembered reading that most public beaches get really crowded if there are a lot of cruise ships in port. There were 7 ships in Cozumel on Saturday & I was prepared, got off the ship first thing at 9 with husband and snorkel gear in tow & inquired about taxi rates. I was a little apprehensive when the taxi organizer didn't know where Palmar was but I had your directions & coupon printed out so I told them it was between the two hotels and mentioned the beach name & all was well. I then realized it was a blessing for them not to know where I was going - that had to mean it wouldn't be too popular/crowded!

I believe we met your husband Mauricio? He was very nice and made us feel very comfortable, showed us to a locker and we were off across the street. A bit hard to get in the water with all the rocks (this is what makes the water so clear!) but it was beautiful & shallow snorkeling with lots of neat corral - and 2 different 2 ft. barracudas guarded the shore.

When we came back we ordered guacamole and chips as well as a mango and pina colada daiquiri. It was obvious it was all just prepared and really fresh - best guacamole I've ever had, the chips were fresh, and the shakes were delicious. In summary, your location was beautiful, thank you for opening your home as a beach club so we could get away from the crowds, we felt so special! Mauricio was as good a host as he was a chef! We'll definitely be recommending Palmar! G. Nielsen ~ Cruise Passenger

We had a great time and your place was a highlight of the whole trip. Thanks again for all the help and hospitality. I hope to make it back someday and we will pass on all you info to others headed your way. Thanks again!! P.S. - Send me some links on where I can leave some reviews for your place!! Thanks B. Last year we visited your Palamar beach club while on a cruise. We felt like we were in a true paradise. We are really into snorkeling so your location is tops on our list. You took the time to talk with us and tell us a bit about your self and the businesses you have. It was very good to meet and talk with you. We felt like we were visiting family and were treated as such. I am pleased to say that we are again coming in on a cruise and canít wait to return to paradise. I hope you are there so we can stop by and say hi if you are not too busy. T. Lemons ~ Cruise Passenger

Sherri, We just returned after a great cruise on the Carnival Holiday. We took a taxi from the cruise pier to Palmar Estate Beach Club and spent about 1/2 a day at your beautiful place. We toured the butterfly sanctuary with your wonderful guide who was informative and very gracious. I also spent quite a bit of time talking to Juan and he was delightful. We relaxed, ate chips and salsa, drank pina coladas and soaked in the sun. What a delightful place you have and a wonderful staff that made our visit great. Thanks and if we get a chance to recommend your place to others we will surely do that.

PS: Your website warned us that the taxi drivers may not be too helpful when asked to go to Palmar Estates and you were correct. After asking 3 drivers who all sort of turned up their noses at us and acted like they had never heard of your place or the butterfly sanctuary we found one that would listen. I told him it was between Hotel Presidente & Fiesta Americana and he said OK. Anyway we got there in only about 6-8 minutes from the pier. Dale and Cathy Carlson ~ Louisville, KY

Sherri and Mauricio thanks for a great day at Palmar Beach Club. We loved the SMALL size of your Beach Club and you made us feel special. The Snorkeling was wonderful. The Snacks were perfect. We loved your swimming pool and the ability to change our clothes after swimming in the clean bathrooms. We will return! Andy & Patti ~ USA
