This lovely second floor apartment has a king size bedroom and ensuite bath with separate living and bedroom areas. It is perfect for a couple or a single traveler and comes with a pull out sofabed that accomodates 1 more adult or 2 small children. The bedroom can be prepared with either a king bed or 2 separate beds. The villa has a dining area and full kitchen with electric stove top, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator and bottled water. Decor is tropical, casual & comfortable. Air Conditioning, TV/VCR-Cable, book library and and hammocks help ensure you relax and enjoy this tropical island living experience! Rinse your dive gear and stow it in the lockers near the pool/spa while you tell "tall tales" of the day's diving! There is also a sofa pullout in living area.
The villa also has a spacious spacious and bright with a lovely front veranda that faces the sunrise where guests can sit and enjoy their morning coffee or relax in a hammock and listen to the morning songbirds.
Downstairs there is a garden, lawnchairs, a pool/spa, dive lockers, rinse tank, outdoor shower and hammocks to enjoy. If you are a frequent visitor to the island, moving out of the hotel zone and integrating into the culture is the "next step" to becoming "a local!" This wonderful IslaMar Villa is the perfect way for visitors to transition from "hotel staying" to an "island living" experience. |

We cannot begin to express our thanks to Sherri, and the staff at IslaMar Villas for our wonderful 11-night stay. This was our third time staying at IslaMar Villas and for us it's the only place to stay in Cozumel. It has truly become our home away from home. We love the apartments, the courtyard and pool, and the warm and friendly neighborhood.
We also used "Insider" to book our car rental with Avis. It went very smoothly and Jacqueline also helped us trade in our little Chevy Pop for something a little bigger.
A big THANK YOU to Sherri for introducing us to a wonderful private driver on the mainland and for arranging our excursion to Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Akumal. We were so happy that we decided to finally venture off the island and go to the mainland to see the ruins. The driver Sherri arranged for us was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we saw things we wouldn't have even known about had we taken the car ferry and driven on our own. To anyone looking for a private tour of places on the mainland, we highly recommend asking Sherri to arrange it for you. It was well worth it!

Sherri and staff thank-you for an incredible experience living in one of your IslaMar Villa properties and enjoying the island more as a resident than tourist introduced us to side of Cozumel we really enjoyed, we only wish we hadn't taken so many years to vacation on Cozumel this way. The driver you hired us on the mainland was great I am very glad I didn't rent a car.
The island has made a wonderful recovery from the huricane and the diving was wonderful yes there is some reef damage but it is already making a comback and the fish life (Eagle Rays, turtles and more) seems more abundant than ever.

We cannot believe it took us almost two decades of diving in Cozumel to discover Islamar Villas. We always loved the diving in Cozumel, but the "main drag" was getting a bit crowded for us. Our view of Cozumel is now quiet, peaceful, and the restaurants where the locals eat are simply awesome as are the accomodations you so wonderfully provide!
