A Personal Note from Sherri "Happy Spring!"
Sherri Davis - Owner/Operator CozumelInsiderMe ~ Clowning Around Carnaval 2014 !So if you didn't manage to get here for Carnaval 2014, I can tell you it was a complete and total BLAST of a party and our Krewe had a magnificent 4 days of festivities and dancing on our parade float and in the streets of Cozumel. In fact we had such fun after 3 years of suspended activities that we simply kept partying well through the following weekend and probably put many tourists to shame in the beverage consumption realm! LOL! Can't say enough about just how fun Cozumel Carnaval can be ~ so try it some time for your next island vacation!

Now, for the most part here on the island, “winter” as we know it is behind us for 2014! And it's time to turn our attention to Spring Break for the next couple of months and all the travelers that brings to the island.

Cozumel Carnaval 2014 Our Krewe! Our IslaMar Villas are still full of guests and we’ve been serving visitors at PalMar SMALL Beach Club once again this season, taking reservations online for just a few folks to spend the day with us out here at the beach. Operating on a small scale for now serves our purposes and it's been fun to meet lots of new travelers again this year ~ it’s one of the things I love most about what we do here in paradise!

So Spring Breakers and Spring Cleaning tops the list around here as the weather becomes more picture postcard perfect every day! Take time to review your schedule and vacation plans now to see when next you might be able to visit us here in Cozumel and enjoy some time relaxing in this lovely tropical paradise we call home!

It is very cold here, it snowed last night. Welcome home to us right?! Just wanted to send an email thanking you for making our experience the best ever in sunny Cozumel. We wanted to let you know that the day we spent at your PalMar Beach Club we had your homemade tamales, (which are my favorite, by the way!) and they were excellent. Also we think that you have very good employees, Juan (there at the beach club/your house) we especially appreciated him, he treated us very well and we just wanted you to know that. Thanks again for the ride to the ferry, we made the 10:00! Also we were very thankful for your advice to stay there in Playa. We were able to get a room and just enjoy our last day on the beach which is what I really wanted. We were within walking distance from the bus that took us to the airport the next morning so it was all very convenient. You were very helpful and we will definately recommend your villas to anyone going there in the future. K & J Gilbert ~ Unknown

I am very happy that Josefina was my teacher. She tailored my Spanish classes specifically to my needs and to my level of knowledge. She made the lessons fun and informative and I have been able to begin speaking and understanding simple conversation after only 3 classes! Leah Rensfelt ~ Canada

Just returned from Cozumel where we participated in the FP&M Turtle Salvation program and it was the highlight of our trip. Our guides picked us up at our hotel right on time. They were very nice and one spoke fantastic English. Being able to participate in the extraction of newly hatched baby sea turtles from their nests and then watching them scurry into the ocean was so amazing. There were 4 nests hatching that evening so we were interacting with baby turtles for several hours. Those little turtles are SO adorable and so VERY determined to get to the water. This activity exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who loves nature and wants to help this endangered species. It is awesome that cozumelinsider.com donates its resources to handle the bookings for this activity to help raise funds for this great cause. Thanks for an awesome experience! T. Daily ~ Arizona

We just got back from Cozumel last week and I'd like to thank you for answering all my questions and for setting us up on the Fury Snorkeling & Beach Party Tour and the van from Budget. This was the 4th time visiting the island and the 1st time that I didn't have the first bit of trouble with booking something online. Your service was great and I will be sure and book with you on my next trip. Thanks again! Danny Neal ~ Marshall TX

Hello my name is Brent C. and I did the Turtle Observation & Release on June 27th. I can honestly not put into words how great and breathtaking the whole experience was! it has always been a dream of mine to watch turtles nest up close and personal but you guys topped that dream and did even better! I almost cried tears of joy when i found out I got to get up close and help remove the turtle eggs as she was laying them! I plan on becoming a marine biologist one day and this whole experience has pushed me farther into my passion for marine biology! I can not say thank you enough! Also cant forget the helpful crew of young men and women that helped us along the night and where ever so kind! Here is a picture of the green sea turtle I named April after she had laid her eggs! Thanks and God Bless Brent C ~ USA
