A Personal Note from Sherri "Hot Hot Hot!!"
Sherri Davis - Owner/Operator CozumelInsiderSummer has come now to the island in full force and wow ~ is it ever hot down here! It’s that time of year when changing clothes 3 – 4 times daily is a must and even the most hard core barefoot fan finds that flip flops are a necessity to walk across the sand or a street.

And there is one other very important thing you should remember about summertime here: it’s when our chili peppers are the hottest! The table salsas are typically made the same way year-round so a salsa you may have tasted and slathered on your food in December or January because it was mild and flavorful can become a painful, liquid fire used sparingly by July.

So for those of you visiting Cozumel this summer, be prepared for hot sun, sand and salsa!

And here’s my best summer tip for you: ALWAYS have an ice cold Mexican cerveza in your hand while here. You can sip it to cool off, pour it on your burnt feet if you forget your flip flops or it can be chugged to peel away the “afterburn” of an excellent habanero salsa! Turns out beer is pretty handy stuff around here this time of year!

i've been on your site for the last week just checking everything out i'm telling you that you have the best site for learning about cozumel to all the execursions that are offered. also the information about how to get to the hotel from the airport with the cost about the ferry to every question that a person like myself would have that is planning on travelling to your beautiful country we are planning on retiring there. our family and myself will be arriving in Cancun and then going on to Cozumel. we will be staying at the reef and then park royal but i printed out coupons and all the info about the ferry, the ado bus and all the execursions we want to do . i'm lucky because i speak the language and i love to talk to people i would love to also get the pleasure of meeting with you which i'm sure i will since we plan on doing alot of your execursions. thank you for this beautiful site i enjoyed every minute i spend on it i look forward to hearing back from you! It is very cold here, it snowed last night. Welcome home to us right?! Just wanted to send an email thanking you for making our experience the best ever in sunny Cozumel. We wanted to let you know that the day we spent at your PalMar Beach Club we had your homemade tamales, (which are my favorite, by the way!) and they were excellent. Also we think that you have very good employees, Juan (there at the beach club/your house) we especially appreciated him, he treated us very well and we just wanted you to know that. Thanks again for the ride to the ferry, we made the 10:00! Also we were very thankful for your advice to stay there in Playa. We were able to get a room and just enjoy our last day on the beach which is what I really wanted. We were within walking distance from the bus that took us to the airport the next morning so it was all very convenient. You were very helpful and we will definately recommend your villas to anyone going there in the future. K & J Gilbert ~ Unknown

Sherri, I was browsing Cozumel Websites the last few days. I came across yours. I have never found a website so detailed to a destination in my life! You supply all the information a traveler could ever want!

You give us how to get there, what to do while we are there, where to stay, how to travel, what to do if we get sick, where to eat, and it just goes on and on!

Thank you for taking the time that you spent in making this my new favorite site!

I wish every vacation destination had a site like this! BRAVO! Jim Piere ~ Simi Valley CA 93063

I want to take a moment to thank you at COZUMELINSIDER for all of your help. This is the first time I have ever booked activities such as these online and was very nervous about how it all worked. You took the time to answer all of my questions and even followed upwith a phone call to make sure you had all the information you needed to book the perfect vacation fun for my family. Thanks so much for making this a great experience! I can hardly wait to get there and enjoy all of these wonderful things! S. Daggett ~ Woodland Park, CO

I just wanted to let you know that my family and I enjoyed the Cozumel Marine Turtle Observation opportunity immensely. The experience was everything we’d hoped it would be and more. It was truly magical watching green and loggerhead turtles coming in from the sea, digging holes, and laying their eggs. We will never forget this experience. Thank you Martin so much for your help in arranging it for us. R. Ashton (July 2015) ~ Bethesda, MD USA
