A Personal Note from Sherri "Beauty of Nature in Paradise"
Sherri Davis - Owner/Operator CozumelInsiderI believe Spring has sprung here on the island as we say good bye to all the Spring Breakers and Easter travelers. Just today we had the tropical version of a Spring shower ~ which means it rained furiously for awhile, flooded the streets then left and the sun was out for the rest of the day! Let's hope what they say is true ~ "April showers bring May flowers!"

One of the things I cherish about living on the island is how very close we are with nature in its wildest forms every day. Just step into the ocean with a snorkel mask and marvel at the underwater wildlife all around in its brilliant, colorful glory. Then go to the side of my house as I did this morning to pick up some discarded boards and discover not only a magnificent rose colored snake but a tarantula to boot! Oh yes...I ran...I squealed...that stuff freaks me out but then it's also great having it around because every creature serves a need in our ecosystem! Only an hour later, while on my way into town today for supplies a family of javelina crossed the road in front of me. I was so happy they had chosen this day...so early in the morning when there was little traffic. Then in the afternoon following the rains, the sun came out and all the tropical butterflies were visiting our flower filled garden around the pool. I just sat there and soaked it all in ~ the beauty of nature in a tropical island paradise!

So many projects, so little time before the next wave of tourism comes our way for the Summer. But weíll be ready and hopefully you are too! Itís time to plan those summer getaways and donít forget Cozumel when making your travel decisions! Since Summer is a lower season for us than Winter, often you can find incredible savings not only on airfares but lodging as well. So get busy looking so we can see you this season!

I will close by reminding you all that it is National Earth Month ~ and Earth Day is April 22, 2016. Soak in the nature around you and remember to consider what part you can play in helping to reduce the growing problems of air, water and soil pollution. One life ~ one earth ~ one chance to make a difference.

What a great Experience!!! We booked our excursions through this website with a slight bit of apprehension. We figured it would be safer to book through our cruise ship since this was our first time going to Cozumel. Boy am I so thankful we didn't. Our cruise ship (which we thoroughly enjoyed) had many excursions organized with tons of people in each excursion. By booking through INSIDER we were definitely given smaller groups to be with. We did the Atlantis Submarine excursion and we saved almost 100 dollars right there!!! We also booked a Resort Scuba with Eagle Ray Divers. We had 1-on-1 attention with Antonio (the owner), our own boat to go out on, and got personalized attention with the lesson/dive. I know if we had booked on the cruise ship there probably would've been many other people ...
Also, we originally booked a car rental for that Saturday morning. Jacqueline @ Cozumel Insider, called us at home prior to our cruise to inform us of some minor scheduling changes. She then suggested that the rental car may not be neccessary due to our number of excursions and our limited time. Due to her advice we cancelled our car rental which was the wise thing to do. This shows that this company has a lot of integrity and is not out there just to make a buck on the unsuspecting tourist. Next year we will definitely book through Cozumel Insider, we will recommend this company to all our friends, and we plan on booking with Antonio for more scuba next time!!!! Thank you so much!!! Thank you for arranging the dolphin encounter for my family!!! Even in the aftermath of Hurricane Emily, Cozumel Insider came through with flying colors --- yall are perfect... A. Sikes ~ Frankston, TX USA

Sherri...thank you again so very much for your fantastic website and for your excellent stories on life in Cozumel. We fellow Texans that are not fortunate enough to actually live there are able to do it through you and we are all extremely grateful...and incredibly envious! Having been an airline employee until retirement I have been lucky to have been down island over 20 times and it NEVER gets old. I thought I knew all about Cozumel, but was delighted to learn of new things and places through you and your website. Your current posting of how you came to Cozumel was so cool. You really need to work on that book! Congrats on this milestone, and continued luck and success in all you do. See you in September for our annual trip down for my birthday and Mexican Independence Day. M. Goodwin ~ Dallas, Texas

I just wanted to let you know that the private charter van service was outstanding. Thanks so much to you and your staff for arranging for the beverages on board and the driver was great. We will be visiting Cozumel again will always be utilizing yours and Uniper's assistance. R. Lee Family ~ Colorado

I want to take a moment to thank you at COZUMELINSIDER for all of your help. This is the first time I have ever booked activities such as these online and was very nervous about how it all worked. You took the time to answer all of my questions and even followed upwith a phone call to make sure you had all the information you needed to book the perfect vacation fun for my family. Thanks so much for making this a great experience! I can hardly wait to get there and enjoy all of these wonderful things! S. Daggett ~ Woodland Park, CO
