A Personal Note from Sherri "Tropical Island Refreshment"
 Although few visitors have been here this past month to know it, our Spring has been really hot and dry this year. There for awhile in April, it seemed Cozumel was trying to compete with California for having the most dry tender in wildlife areas to spark a potential fire.
During these weeks of hot, dry weather each year before the tropical rains begin, there is always one cool respite roaming the neighborhoods offering relief from the heat: the ice cream vendors. Those vendors riding umbrella covered tri-cycles and clanging their bells typically offer fresh made coconut ice cream while those walking with a two wheeled hand cart freezer will most often have fruit flavored ices and creams. These delicious ice creams are all fresh made, not the pre-packaged, production line ice creams shipped in from somewhere.
As the kids are outside playing, they can hear the bells of the vendors from far enough away to be able to go inside and beg their moms for a few pesos to indulge in a frosty treat. Then they all huddle around the freezer and one by one make their selections. Afterwards as you walk through the neighborhood, it’s easy to tell which kiddo chose what flavor: cherry red drippings on the t-shirt of one, orange smeared, frozen pouty lips on another and a grape purple tongue proudly displayed by yet another. All this color, coolness and contentment for about a dollar.
I can’t think of a better investment in paradise.

Derrick and I had a great time. We got our fill of diving. On the 4th day in fact, I was so tuckered out, I didn't think I would make it, but we persevered and did all 15 tanks of your ISLAMAR/DIVE PARADISE Dive Package B! The break in the sun was exactly what the doctor ordered…..rest assured, you have my business in the future and I'm glad to have been lucky enough to have found someone who is renowned for their business acumen and operates with such respected integrity in the community. It is very cold here, it snowed last night. Welcome home to us right?! Just wanted to send an email thanking you for making our experience the best ever in sunny Cozumel. We wanted to let you know that the day we spent at your PalMar Beach Club we had your homemade tamales, (which are my favorite, by the way!) and they were excellent. Also we think that you have very good employees, Juan (there at the beach club/your house) we especially appreciated him, he treated us very well and we just wanted you to know that. Thanks again for the ride to the ferry, we made the 10:00! Also we were very thankful for your advice to stay there in Playa. We were able to get a room and just enjoy our last day on the beach which is what I really wanted. We were within walking distance from the bus that took us to the airport the next morning so it was all very convenient. Sherri, I was browsing Cozumel Websites the last few days. I came across yours. I have never found a website so detailed to a destination in my life! You supply all the information a traveler could ever want!
You give us how to get there, what to do while we are there, where to stay, how to travel, what to do if we get sick, where to eat, and it just goes on and on!
Thank you for taking the time that you spent in making this my new favorite site!

Hello, I want to let you know that I visit your website all the time! I love it, so much information. I used you as a resource when I came to Cozumel for the first time about 2 years ago. Although my soon-to-be wife was there before, I needed to do some of my own homework. As for her, she and I will be getting married on June 22 at Hotel Cozumel and we are both really excited about it.
