A Personal Note from Sherri "Bring on Summer!!"
Sherri Davis - Owner/Operator CozumelInsiderI know I sound like a broken record at times but as school is quickly coming to an end and summer is just around the corner, its time to get busy planning that vacation to get the good airfares for everyone in the family!

Here on the website, we talk with dozens of families each week asking us questions about Cozumel hotels and activities yet the statement we hear most frequently is "I wish I had started searching earlier for airfares!" It's not that you're going to spend LESS on your vacation, but the more money you save on airfare, the more is left over to take that extra excursion or visit that great restaurant you've heard about! And goodness knows we are blessed with so much for visitors to enjoy here in this tropical island paradise called Cozumel!

So please ~ do your wallet a favor and begin looking for some airfares now so you can squish sand between your toes and down a couple of margaritas here with us in Cozumel this summer!

As for Mauricio and I, it will be a very busy Summer! Our PalMar Beach Club has just increased 10 fold to almost 300 linear yards of the best snorkeling beach on the island! It has been a 3 year labor of love acquiring this beach concession so this summer we will be doing restoration, conservation and preparing it for usage for the coming season. It's a SUPER exciting time for us!!

On top of that project, we're also setting up our beach club down in Mahahual or "Costa Maya" as many cruise ship travelers have come to know it by that name. Hopefully by the high season, you will be able to spend the day with us snorkeling at PalMar Beach and then as your ship ports in Costa Maya, you can join us there for a day of beautiful snorkeling as well!

At IslaMar Villas, we're updating and freshening things up for the coming season and doing projects to prepare for the tropical storm season which we HOPE will not be too active this year! It's making me tired just thinking about it all! That being said, they say that when you do what you love for a living, it really doesn't seem like work at all. I can tell you no truer words have ever been spoken! Awakening every day in this tropical island paradise of Cozumel to the crystal blue and turquoise waters outside and swaying palm trees overhead makes everything being done seem like goofing off! LOL!

So let me go "goof off" some more around here while YOU get busy planning a Summer trip to this island paradise for your family!
Hope to see you soon here at the beach!

Sherri and her staff did everything under the sun to help us get on one of their shore excursions. Phone calls and emails were promptly acknowledged and answered cheerfully and professionally. These are "home" folks; no need to worry about language or accents getting in the way of success. Book with confidence, and have fun! J Meyers ~ San Antonio, Texas

My family and I have returned to Cozumel many times - it's a favorite destination and we have watched it change over the past 20 years. The Cozumel Insider is a great publication - it's a wonderful way to keep up with the news about one of our favorite islands. We are preparing to visit again this August and the Insider has shown us some different activities to try, as well as helped to bring us up to date with local political and ecological happenings. We're delighted to see the interest in wildlife conservation throughout the area. Keep up the good work on this terrific site. D. McClean ~ unknown

It is very cold here, it snowed last night. Welcome home to us right?! Just wanted to send an email thanking you for making our experience the best ever in sunny Cozumel. We wanted to let you know that the day we spent at your PalMar Beach Club we had your homemade tamales, (which are my favorite, by the way!) and they were excellent. Also we think that you have very good employees, Juan (there at the beach club/your house) we especially appreciated him, he treated us very well and we just wanted you to know that. Thanks again for the ride to the ferry, we made the 10:00! Also we were very thankful for your advice to stay there in Playa. We were able to get a room and just enjoy our last day on the beach which is what I really wanted. We were within walking distance from the bus that took us to the airport the next morning so it was all very convenient. You were very helpful and we will definately recommend your villas to anyone going there in the future. K & J Gilbert ~ Unknown

Just wanted to thank COZUMELINSIDER for getting us booked for our activities while we were in Cozumel. The dolphin swim was fantastic! I'd do it again in a minute. We didn't get to do the SNUBA diving ..... we ended up doing the Helmet dive instead for the same price. We plan on visiting Cozumel again possibly next year and will be contacting you to book some excursions prior to our vacation. We saved a significant amount of money booking the excursions through COZUMELINSIDER instead of the cruise line. Thanks again! S.Forgette and G Wichtowski ~ Not Given

Hello, I will visit the island next weekend. I just want to thank you and your staff who make this website, because Ive been checking a lot of websites, even those Trip Advisor, and yours has been much more useful to plan this trip. Specially because it has links to official websites from local beaches, tips about prices and ways to get somewhere. Good job! Ill write again to tell you about the experience. C. Quijano (Feb. 2015) ~ Mexico
